Video Application
Beside the well known turn table, THOMA offers a complete range of Remote-Heads of all sizes. The Remote-Heads are equipped with own developed friction gearings and integrated encoders. These features ensure smooth and jerk-free movements. In particular, this quality is visiable when using long focus-lenghts.
For completion THOMA has a variety of lens-control and -servo devices.

Film Application
Generally Video- and Film-Application are identical. Only Film-lenses require special zoom- and focus drives and controls
Virtual Studio-Technics
THOMA offers the whole range of tracking technologies for virtual studios.
The highlight is the contact-free IR-system, called "Walkfinder". It has an unrivalled precision and full 3D-360° capability. The calibration process is fast and simple. Contrary to mechanical systems, re-calibration is not neccessary during production.
In addition THOMA has mechanical tracking-systems with encoded heads and pedestals. All encoders are to the highest resolution and accuracy.
From quarter I 2009 onwards THOMA offers Sensor-Kits for all popular fluid-heads. The focus is virtual production with existing support-equipment and savings of investment costs.
