TR20 Pan-Tilt drive

The drive-module for pan and tilt is identical.
It is an in-house development and worldclass in smoothness and reaction behaviour.

Basic design: 

• Housing in Alu 
  • drag-cup motor with extremely short time constant
  • execution of start/stop and forward/backward in milliseconds
  • high resolution encoder mounted on the motor shaft
  • accurate positionioning and jerk-free movement by signal processor control
  • backlash-free friction gear drive with slip clutch (flawless reversal of direction and overload protection)
  • smooth and quiet running  (no gearwheels) when switching between forward and backward movement.
  • drive shaft equipped with pre-tensioned angular ball bearing, backlash-free and giving heavy payload capacity
