TR3 Control-Head
Description
The control head serves as a control unit for THOMA-TR3 remote head.
Both axes for PAN and TILT are running in ball-bearings and therefore they are very rugged and free of maintenance.
By Fluid-damping-units the axes are damped in a common way and are lockable by disc brakes.
By high-resolution incremental encoders the motion of the axes is digitally captured.
To the pan-arms the digital THOMA-TR3-manual regulator for Iris, Zoom and Focus can be attached and connected by an armored cable backwards.
By means of a shifted mass the balance of the TILT-axis will be adjusted.
The attachable THOMA-TR3-control-electronics contains the operational program. Sideward and backward there are the connector sockets for the power cable 12 Volts, for the remote cable, for the manual regulator for Iris, Zoom and Focus, for the Red-light-line, the PC-connection and a Redlight- test switch.
A shaped base plate with tightening harness can be used to carry a 9"-monitor.
The control head is used for being attached to a tripod with 150 mm half-bowl.
