TR3 Crank-wheels

The crank wheel unit completes the product line to a remote system with all ways of administration of the pan and tilt axes.
The units are connected to the control-head. The electronics of the head will switch automatically.

The perfect balanced concentricity and the flywheel without resistance are the reasons for the very soft and smooth movements of the remote-head.The crank and the counter-weight can be pulled off by pressing on the top. That is why you can use the crank-wheels as flywheels.

On the top of the crank-wheel unit, there is a rotary button where you can damp or stop smoothly the crank-wheel.

A digital encoder with high resolution catches the data, which are necessary for pan and tilt control. With a push button at the manual regulator the remote tripping of movie cameras or the recorder-control resp. the return-switching of video cameras can be performed. The electrical connection to the control head is done by a THOMA-TR3 armored cable for manual regulators.

The crank-wheel-holder is manufactured with a solid POM (Polyoxymethylen/Polyacetalharz) and can be installed very easy.

Because of space-saving problems it is possible to separate the crank-wheel and the crank-wheel holder. In combination with the THOMA-TR3 attachment frame the crank-wheels can be used in a control desk or at a THOMA-TR3 Control-head

The crankwheel-controlhead gear-reduction is from 20turns/360° up to 200 turns/360°
