Walkfinder Sync-detector
Description
The Sync-Detektor should be located in reach of 2m to WF-camera Nr.1 and easy accessible for the operators.
THe device has a fourfold function:
1. preparation of external sync signal for the WF-camera
2. check function of WF-camera
3. check function active markers(IR-flash)
4. check synchronicity of IR-flash and camera-exposure
In detail:
Sync-detection and editing
- The sync-signal is fed in via the BNC-plug.
- The detector identify all possible signals (blackburst,TRri-level ..)
- The incoming sync-signal will be transformed into TTL-signal and transmitted to the WF-cameras
- An LED light confirms sync-signal
Check of WF-camera
- In active mode the exposure is 450µs and open in 50/60Hz
- a LED light confirms the correct shutter-function
Check of marker
- By means of an integrated photo-cell the active marker function will be checked.
- The marker is moved close to the photo-cell
- the correct IR-flash is confirmed by light-element
Check synchronicity of marker-flash and WF-camera exposure
- The marker is moved close to the photo-cell
- The synchronicity of camera-exposure and IR-Flash is confirmed by LED-elements.
- 2 additional LED lights are on in case IR flash is centred into the camera-exposure
The sync-detector is very valuable "on location" tool for studio operators.
The function of each marker can be checked individually
